The South African Hospitality Institute's credentials:

SAHI is a 100% black owned hospitality institute and predominately caters for previously disadvantaged individuals who are left out of the mainstream hospitality Education landscape. We have created a number of courses that are affordable and specifically designed to develop our students’ cooking and planning skills with the aim of making them highly employable within the hospitality industry. As owners of the South African Hospitality Institute, we have hands-on experience in the hospitality industry as well as many years of lecturing and managerial experience with private as well as government sponsored institutions. We are deeply involved in the day-to-day education, training and development of students. Other specialists are brought in to cover specialized courses. With over 40 years hospitality industry and training experience we bring a passion for education and developing young people in South Africa. This has resulted in many years of studies in the field of Higher Education. Our teaching faculty are also qualified Assessors, Facilitators and Moderators with the ETDP SETA.
